About Janeen V. Isaacson
Janeen Isaacson is a practicing litigator with more than 30 years of experience, and she has now joined the Isaacson Law Firm.
More than capable of handling general legal issues, Janeen is especially qualified to handle ethics cases and board reviews for practicing attorneys and other professionals. She earned this skill set through 8 years of insider experience as a prosecutor for the State Bar of Nevada, where she served as Interim Bar Counsel. In that role, she prosecuted and litigated some of the largest and most difficult cases brought against attorneys in Nevada. These cases led to disbarments of some very high-profile offenders, one of whom had stolen more than $10 million from clients.
During her tenure with the Bar, Janeen handled hundreds of formal disciplinary hearings and was lead counsel for over 100 disciplinary trials. Today she uses that experience to help attorneys respond to State Bar grievances and disciplinary investigations.
Janeen also assists people in the real estate profession, especially appraisers.
When it comes to injury law, Janeen’s past history includes numerous years as in-house counsel for Travelers Insurance. As a lead trial attorney there, she came to understand the mentality, operations, and goals of insurance companies and those who oppose the victims of personal injuries.
Janeen is an experienced litigator and has made oral arguments before the Nevada Supreme Court. She has managed a staff of 20 people and handled civil and commercial litigation cases. A resident of Nevada for over twenty-years, she is licensed to practice law here, as well as in California and Colorado.
Janeen’s past experience as a managing partner in other law firms means she is well established in legal and court systems and rapidly adapts to the needs of the Isaacson Law Firm and its clients.
Beyond her heavily involved activities across the legal landscape, Janeen has selflessly served Nevada by providing presentations and seminars before community, educational, and service groups. She helps prepare and coach other Nevada attorneys as well as aspiring law students.
